Crafting spaces with precision and passion, thoughtfully designed to reflect your unique vision.

Saanjh, meaning dusk, is a residence that explores the space between memory and modernity. Designed for a Marwari family whose roots trace back to an ancestral haveli in Sardarshahar, the project reimagines fragments of their heritage within a contemporary retreat, creating a home that connects generations through shared memories and experiences.

At the heart of the project is the adaptive reuse of elements salvaged from the family's ancestral home. Doors, lintels, and architectural fragments were carefully transported and repurposed, allowing traces of the old haveli to remain embedded within everyday life. Rather than preserving these pieces as artifacts, the design gives them a renewed purpose, ensuring that stories of the past continue to be lived and remembered.

Equally important is the residence's relationship with nature. Landscapes, courtyards, and gardens are woven throughout the home, creating a constant dialogue between the built and natural environments. Productive gardens, outdoor gathering spaces, and moments of pause encourage a slower, more connected way of living.

More than a retreat, Saanjh is an exploration of continuity, a home that honours its origins while creating new memories for generations to come.
